(More customer reviews)I bought this to float in the pool. It is too narrow and slippery to do that. It is so slippery that I doubt you could keep a sleeping bag on it either, so I don't see any use for it other that a kid's pool toy. It seems pretty tough, so that would be a sensible use for it. The "2x Intex Fabric Extra Wide Camping Mattress" sold by Amazon is a much better choice for pool or camping and it is $6 cheaper to boot.
